Communist News Network!?

   Dear Journal,

For such a long time I'd hear over and over that CNN was controlled by the government, and pulled crooked news.  For the longest time I wanted to not believe it.  But over enough time, there's just so much writing on the wall that one eventually just can't purposely ignore it anymore.

First and foremostly annoying was their use of the Disqus(ting) system!  Most ignorant and annoying commenting system ever to grace creation in this world.  Totaly anonymity, no user controls, but very easily tampered.  At first I thought, well, all commenting will have its annoyances, but Disqus takes the cake.  As an example, often times during the Zimmerman/Martin case, CNN would close off commenting on an article, and if you watched closely, they'd remove posts in defense of Trayvon Martin, while blatanly inflammatory, derogatory, and uncalled for posts favoring George Zimmerman, or outright insulting the deceased Martin were left to remain.  Eventually they'd re-open commenting, allow some new posts, close commenting, and repeat.  I've also noticed, you can say something as civil as possible, only reflecting on the article, not directed at anyone, perhaps paste a little snippet of info or quote... nothing that would violate any rules, and yet, any hateful/ignorant people reading that didn't agree would vote down AND flag as inappropriate.  There's been at least a half dozen, maybe a dozen, that I actually tested by reading them off to somebody before posting, asking how it sounded, and if any of it seemed like it could be taken out of context or misconstrued.  They said nope, they sounded great, and there was nothing wrong with them, as I also agreed to that assessment.  I'd post, and either quickly or over time, they'd end up being removed and vanishing from the Disqus(ting) comment section!  And then of all people to hire onto the CNN legal staff, they actually hired on Mark O'Mara!?  REALLY!?  Now, any article that comes out dealing with either of the Zimmermans or Trayvon Martin, the comments are instantly locked as soon as the article is posted -- yeah, that sure isn't a communistic, erm, I mean, "conflict" of interest, now is it!?

Then, if one pays close attention not only to Communist News Networks articles, but also to other news sites, one will witness major disparities.  First of all, they very disgustingly on September 11th -- a day that's supposed to be the anniversary of EVERYBODY that passed away in the terrorist attack -- had an article showing off and boasting the FIRST person to die that day.  Really!?  Is a terrorist attack now the same thing as a forum or message-board!?  Did the bozo shout, "FIRST", before he croaked!?  The article starts out saying how special the guy is, points out how much more he succeeded at in life than any other victim, and how much more potential he had than any other victim... and outright made the impression that, the other 2,976 people that died was slightly bad, but this guy passing on was just horrendous.  And seriously, boasting that he went out FIRST!?  What's he get, a gold Special Olympics trophy?  Maybe a retarded "special" achievement on Hacks-Box Jive (XBL slam for those that don't get it)?  Did he get a little gold-star sticker to go on his casket, oooh, always knew blowing up in a giant fireball had its rewards... a STICKER, yay! *facepalm*  Not to mention, there weren't enough remains of anybody to actually perform an autopsy to determine cause or time of death; furthermore, if a person actually does a Google search on the clown's name, there's STILL conflicting stories of just how and when he died.  From stabbed, to throat slit, to shot -- doesn't sound that convincing to me... in fact, in a court of law, if there were multiple versions of how something transpired, it'd be chucked out and called pure speculation.  And then there's Communist News Network, singing this man's praises... again attempting to make yet another martyr for the modern day to divert where everybody's attention should be at -- while shamelessly plugging the business the guy started, along with the guy's book, where it could be found, how much it cost.  I mean seriously, the entire article was speculative opinion and a shameful sales advertisement/infomercial... and yet it was the top headline story for over half the day on that day, front and center, the link for it even read, "2,977 died, but he was first!".  Just how much VANITY does society, or at least Communist News Network, need to turn 9/11 into a race!?  Perhaps that's it... maybe the messenger at CNN needs to be sacked, he keeps getting the memos mixed up.  Now CNN is sadly under the impression that 9/11 was a marathon... tune in next year to find out who made second place!  I mean seriously, what was the message behind the article, "Congratulations dude, you won"!?

Not to mention the big biker rally that took place that same day.  Literally - nearly 2 million bikers all rolling into Washington D.C. for a special 9/11 tribute.  Problem is, think I read/heard the law had an issue with that many bikers being in one place at one time, thinking it was a powder keg ready to go off.  So in turn, what happens!?  Every other news network covers the story, gives them mention, and yet on Communist News Network -- not even a peep.  Really!?  Not a peep!?  Almost TWO MILLION bikers in the same place at the same time... and not even a word!?  *facedesk*

There's many other glaring issues, you just have to watch (not that hard) for them to see them.  It's just a real shame too.  I love Anderson Cooper, Nancy Grace, Piers Morgan, and Erin Burnette -- just a shame they're under the CNN umbrella!  Even sadder that there's not that many news websites out there that really compare in scope.  USAToday is kind of neat I guess, then there's ABC & NBC, but their "commenting" is either Disqus or just as convoluted!  Perhaps Facebook needs to make their login page into something similar to Yahoo or Google, with news on top, current events, stocks, and other information while being customizeable.  That way as people check their social network, they can click to the top and instantly see current events and updates.  Why not?  A lot of news sites are going with Facebook commenting anyways -- to help clean up the massive derailing, mud-slinging, etc... giving people in the comments the ability to block/ignore, etc.
